If mains power is not available, pillar reach motors can operate using solar power. Rated to work on the shortest day of the year, each system is individually rated to ensure all year round operation.

The ideal choice for slim pillars

The pillar operator is available in master and slave versions with an integrated electronic control board meaning no additional control units to mount to your gates.

The basic solar system is powered by a 24V solar panel and rated to operate up to 10 times per day in the winter. For busier entrances, or where there is a need for access control peripherals, the solar rating can be increased to provide up to 200 operations per day.

Anti-crushing protection is ensured by an electronic device installed on the control board, which directly controls drive torque. In case of an emergency, the release key makes it possible to operate the gate manually.

The electro-mechanical device cuts down considerably on maintenance and reliability is assured under all atmospheric conditions and in an outdoor temperature range of -20°C to +55°C.
