The ‘pillar reach style’ electro-mechanical actuator is a practical and economic choice for automating gates on narrow pillars. It has a good aesthetic design and is compact with the 24V control board built-in, transformer and battery back up as standard.

The ideal choice for slim pillars

The pillar operator is available in master and slave versions with an integrated electronic control board, meaning no additional control units to mount to your gates.

The system operates at 24V with a mains supply being brought to the onboard transformer. Where outdoor mains is not desirable, it is possible to run a safe low voltage cable to the gates if required.

Anti-crushing protection is ensured by an electronic device installed on the control board, which directly controls drive torque. In case of an emergency, the release key makes it possible to operate the gate manually.

The electro-mechanical device cuts down considerably on maintenance and reliability is assured under all atmospheric conditions in an outdoor temperature range of -20°C to +55°C.
